Rituals

There are more saints then days of the year. Costantino’s Emperor, for instance is a saint only in Sardinia.  S’Ardia, in his honor, has been held every year since 1806 in  a small town of about 2000 souls, Sedilo Sardinia. The origins of this popular festival recall the battle of Ponte Milvio in 312 AD, in which the future emperor Constantino had a vision, he sow the sign of victory in the sky, it was the holy cross. In the name of the holy cross, he won the battle against Maxentius and became the emperor of the new Catholic Rome. I have always thought of an inspiring force that unites people during patronal festivals or religious events.  Everything becomes one. My curiosity to find out mysteries then is triggered.
